7 Signs Your Website Needs a Redesign

A website is rarely 'finished'. Buyer expectations move, browsers change and the way people find you shifts every year. The question is not whether your site is old — it is whether it still earns its place.

Slow loading is the clearest signal. If your pages take more than three seconds on mobile data, a large share of visitors leave before they see anything. Compressed images, modern formats and a lean front end usually fix this.

The second signal is mobile layout. Most traffic is mobile, yet many older sites simply shrink the desktop layout. Sections should be reorganised for small screens, not squeezed.

Other signals: no clear call to action, content you cannot edit yourself, no analytics, a design that no longer matches your brand, and a structure that search engines struggle to read.

A redesign does not have to mean starting from zero. Often the fastest win is restructuring the homepage journey and rebuilding the technical foundation underneath your existing content.
